Oh My child
Don’t you see?
You look just like Me!

One man sinned
All mankind fell
One Man was holy
All mankind was restored
We were not supposed
To pass on curses
We were meant
To pass blessings on
Life is not suppposed
To be a burden
Life was meant
To be an abundant gift
Life cannot be earned
It can only be received
Life is a present
From One that loves to give
NB You have to believe
In order to receive
This restoration

Once a slave of sin
Now set free to live
Once an object of wrath
Now a beloved child
Once in the kingdom of darkness
Now in the kingdom of light
A citizen of heaven
Once alienated from God
Now one with him
His Spirit living inside
My heart and his intertwined
Once lost in confusion
Without hope in a dark world
Now filled with purpose
Walking the way of the cross
Once living for myself
Now living for love
Not to gain it but to give
Because I am loved from above
Not to strive for perfection
For acceptance that’s never enough
Not to pursue approval
Because I’m enough in God

(Ornament)
You wrapped me around you
Like a beautiful sash
An ornament of grace
Displaying your colors
Your colors of kindness
Your colors of grace
Your colors of love
And never of rejection
You never leave me alone
You made me part of who you are
You say I am your beauty
I put your glory on display

“I am”
“Where?”
“I am here”
“When?”
“I am here right now”
“For how long?”
“I was here yesterday
I am here today
And I will be here forever”
“How?”
“I am the air you breath
I am the song you sing
I am the beauty of your cat
I am the joy you bring
I am all around you
I even live inside
I never will forsake you
I am longing to abide”
